Perioperative management of patients with mental illness. Guidelines of the All-Russian Public Organization “Federation of Anesthesiologists and Reanimatologists”

Mental disorders in persons over 18 years of age are quite common and represented by a fairly extensive list diseases. In patients with similar pathology, there is also need for interventions manipulations under conditions anesthesia. The article presents the principles perioperative management most mental illnesses — affective disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety behavioral syndromes associated physiological (bulimia, anorexia).
